Those steep walks uphill from the car park are not for the faint-hearted!!! The single beds are as hard as rocks, and the bathroom finishes feel stuck in the past. Upgrade or update those dated rooms already!!!

Waking up to the beautiful panoramic view of the Tuscan scenery from the breakfast terrace was unforgettable! The staff was exceptionally welcoming, and our room was both spacious and comfortable.

I stayed in a Junior Suite and it was super spacious with a comfy bed and a modern bathroom. The views from the room were amazing too, right next to the main square. However, I really wish there was a mini-fridge to keep drinks and snacks cool. It was a bit awkward not having that, especially on hot days.

staying at italia was a delight! the location is perfect, right in the heart of town, making dining out super easy. the hospitality was unmatched, with staff always ready to assist us with dinner recommendations. Just a commendable fit for a flash visit in Cortona with outstanding value for money. The staff are incredibly helpful and went out of their way to assist us with dinner options. Make sure to try the breakfast. it's quite a spread.

Couple’s perfect getaway

The breakfast view was just very nice and the staff made you feel at home right away. We really enjoyed the hearty breakfast spread with meat and cheese while gazing out at the fine valley and lakes.

Wasn't exactly cheap but definitely worth it for the experience.
